When I first saw the Prada SS 2013 collection, the floral patterns completely caught my eye. Although the pattern was shown in a spring/summer collection, I think the combination of black, white, and red is perfect for the wintertime as well.
This nail art is really easy to do (my right hand nails actually look nice!) and looks really cute.
I think this looks better on shorter nails so I first filed my nails down to a short, rounded shape. I painted my nails randomly with black and white for the base then used the back of a paintbrush to create five dots in the shape of a flower for the pattern. I chose to make white flowers on black and red flowers on white. After the white flower shapes dried, I dipped my brush into black and red to create the centers of the flowers. Finished off with a high-gloss top-coat, these nails are adorable and perfect for the wintertime.
To create my nail art, I used Essie’s Licorice, Essie’s Twin Sweater Set, Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear 300 White On, and Julep’s Freedom Polymer Topcoat.
